Successes

OnSite Health provides real-world help for employers trying to manage health care costs and benefit to employees through health screenings and education and monitoring programs. Below are a series of successes we'd like to share.

Blood Pressure Reductions

The graph above represents Company B employees with systolic blood pressure initial reading over 130 at with the at least one follow up blood pressure test. These employees experienced a 13% decrease in average systolic blood pressure.

A systolic reading over 130 indicates pre-hypertension and a number over 140 indicates hypertension.

Triglyceride Level Reductions

Triglyceride levels have significantly decreased over the past 3 years Onsite Health has worked with the employees of Company C.

Cholesterol Reductions

Average cholesterol levels for employees of Company C have steadily decreased since we began working with them.

The decrease in cholesterol has been significant since the start of the program in 2004. A 10% decrease in total cholesterol levels may result in an estimated 30% reduction in the incidence of chronic heart disease. Average lifetime costs of cardiovascular disease is $260,000.

Diabetes Management

There were 12 newly diagnosed diabetes cases in 2008 with a total of 31 diagnosed cases since 2006. One newly diagnosed diabetic decreased A1C from 11.5 to 6.7. (A hemoglobin A1C less than 6 is considered to be non-diabetic.)
