Dr. Glenn L. Scott — Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Scott is one South Carolina’s leading orthopedic surgeons. A native of New Orleans, he received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his internship at Charlotte Memorial Hospital in Charlotte, NC. During his residency in radiology and orthopedic surgery at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, Dr. Scott also completed a fellowship in prosthetic joint replacement at Inselspital, in Berne, Switzerland. He was certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery in 1974.

After moving to Spartanburg in 1973, Dr. Scott practiced at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, Mary Black Memorial Hospital and Doctors Memorial Hospital. He served as Spartanburg Regional’s Chief, Division of Orthopedic Surgery, and Chairman of Mary Black’s Department of Surgery. In addition to his surgical responsibilities, Dr. Scott was a clinical assistant professor of orthopedic surgery for the Medical University of South Carolina.

Dr. Scott’s orthopedic practice has always included work-related injuries. These cases led to his extensive work in occupational health and worker’s comp issues, which in turn led to his research on workplace healthcare and the development of OnSite Health’s clinical protocols. Most of his practice now is focused on worker’s comp issues.

His professional activities include clinical instruction with the Association for the Study of Internal Fixation (AO) in Davos, Switzerland, serving on the Medical Advisory Committee for the SC Workers’ Compensation Commission, and clinical consulting with the Zimmer Corporation. Dr. Scott received his Civil Mediator Certification from the South Carolina Council for Conflict Resolution, where he also served as a training coach.

James A. Ham, Jr. — President and Chief Operating Officer

Jay Ham is part of OnSite Health’s next generation of ownership and management, along with Chris Scott, OnSite Health’s Chief Financial Officer. He brings a track record of successfully building and operating companies to the company’s management, leading OnSite Health’s growth initiatives in new markets and working closely with the clinical staff in the development of new services.

As Manager & Partner of H & R Holdings, a holding company based in Florence, SC, Jay oversees a range of real estate development projects in West Virginia and South Carolina. He is also the President and Founder of Carolina Modular, Inc., a modular building manufacturing company. In 2007, Jay negotiated an asset purchase agreement with Comark Building Systems, a Carlyle Group Company, for the purchase of CMI’s manufacturing division.

A graduate of Wofford College, he serves as a vestry member of St. John Episcopal Church and completed his South Carolina Liberty Fellowship at the Aspen Global Leadership Network in 2011.

Chris Scott — Chief Financial Officer

Chris Scott is part of OnSite Health’s next generation of ownership and management, along with Jay Ham, OnSite Health’s Chief Operating Officer. A graduate of Davidson College, Chris has extensive experience with real estate and capital markets.

He began his career with First Union Capital Markets, moving to RBC Centura Bank in Charlotte, where he worked with Capital Advisors — Commercial Real Estate Finance. Seeking a more entrepreneurial environment, Chris joined Medalist Capital as an original partner, where he specialized in real estate debt and equity projects throughout the Southeast until selling his interest in 2009.

Chris serves on the Board of the Pee Dee Land Trust and the Board of All Saints Episcopal School, and is a basketball coach and deacon at First Presbyterian in Florence.

Duveen Woolbright — Director of Clinical Operations

Duveen joined OnSite Health in 2004 and worked with Dr. Scott, the company’s Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Officer, to develop our workplace healthcare services model. As Director of Clinical Operations, she oversees operations at all of our clinics. She also works closely with each client on the development of a customized program for their workforce, monitoring care for high-risk personnel and reviewing outcomes on an annual basis.

Prior to joining OnSite Health, Duveen served as Director of Health Services for the University of South Carolina Upstate, where she provided advanced practice nursing care for faculty, students and staff. Before her arrival, the university’s healthcare services consisted of a part-time nurse who provided first aid and immunization services. During her tenure, she developed a full-service healthcare clinic with physician involvement and nurse practitioner services. Duveen also collaborated with DHEC to provide women’s health services and additional public health services. In addition, she served as an adjunct instructor for the University of South Carolina Upstate Mary Black School of Nursing from 1996 to 2006, supervising nursing students outside of the classroom.

Duveen’s clinical experience includes working as a staff nurse for the Spartanburg County Health Department and Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She has a Master of Science in Nursing from Clemson University, and both bachelor and associate degrees in nursing from the University of South Carolina Spartanburg. Her extensive experience with various community agencies and resources has helped her shape the flexible, cost-effective clinical and educational models that OnSite Health offers.

She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the American College Health Association, South Carolina Nurse Association and Piedmont District Nurse Association.
